GPR-64
GPR-64 is an update of the standard GPR software. It now requires a Windows 64 bit system which covers almost all current systems. Howver, the old version GPR (32) will remain available, though not updated as much.
The main reasons for the upgrade are to allow for more memory ues, and hence make the program faster to run. On an early test, a GPR(32) took 12 minutes to process which GPR-64 took 8 minutes. This was an image file of first 16GB of Hero 10 exFAT memory chip. Along with the current VS2022 development platform, usfeul stable features can be added to keep it a world leading product.
One immediate benefit is the adduition of 1TB memory cards
